ARRIVAL OF WOUNDED. – Several trains, bringing down
upwards of a thousand of the wounded in Saturday’s and Sunday’s engagements
on the Rappahannock, arrived in the city during yesterday. The severely wounded
were removed to the General Hospital, (City Alms House) and the rest were
distributed among several of the hospitals in the eastern part of the city. More
are expected down to-day.
