From the Richmond Whig, 10/31/1864, p. 1, c. 4CHARGED WITH BEING A SPY. - A female named Mary Pitt, hailing from Isle of Wight county, Va., was committed to the Castle yesterday, upon the charge of being a spy and a suspicious character. She had upon her person several Yankee passes.
