APPOINTMENT. - The post of Provost Marshal, for the District of Henrico, having been made vacant by the transfer of Capt. A. C. Godwin to Salisbury, N. C., to take charge of two thousand Federal prisoners, Major G. W. Griswold, of Baltimore, has been appointed in his place.
