From the Richmond Sentinel, 12/2/1863
Still They Come. - The Petersburg cars yesterday
brought down five hundred and ten Yankee prisoners, captured around Knoxville,
Tenn., by Longstreet's forces a short time since. They were quartered in
Barrett's old factory on Main street, for the present. Among the lot were six or
eight officers. Some of them were destitute of hats and shoes, and other
appeared as if they had seen no water for a long time previous to their arrival
here.
