Sir,
I am instructed by the Surg. Gen
to request you to lend me four carpenter (if you can conveniently spare them-)
to take up & relay the floors of the wards of this Hos. that have been
contaminated with the variolan poison. Please inform me by the Bearer if you can
comply with the request. If you send them please send the tools necessary to
perform the work.
