Surgeon McCaw will proceed with as little delay as practicable to Danville for the purpose of establishing hospitals in that city He will select a sufficient number of factories to accommodate five thousand (5,000) patients and will make the proper requisitions on the Qr. Master of the post, for the proper hiring, cleaning, and fitting up these buildings making bunks, &c. He will confer with Surgeon Blackford, if he is there, on the subject. On the completion of this duty, he will return to this city & resume his duties.
