Sir:
I am instructed by the Inspector of Hospitals to
inform you that the sick of the field-infirmaries of Gen. McLaw’s Division are
being sent into town for Hospital treatment – and that, to the number of some
four hundred, they will reach your hospital in the course of to-day and
to-morrow.
