Sir,
During the twenty
four hours that I have acted in the Capacity of Officer of the day, I caused
Privates Adams & Mansfield to be arrested & confined to the Guard House
– On my visits to the various apartments of the Hospital I found Everything in
good condition. In consequence of an insufficient supply of fuel, the regular
hours for meals in the 1st Division, was delayed & the rations
not cooked properly –
Very Respectfully,
Your Obt. Svt.
R. O’Leary
Asst.
Surgeon
&
Officer of Day
P. S. There has been some complaints in quantity &
quality of rations in the 3rd Division apartments ___. R. O’Leary
