THE YANKEE WOUNDED in the fighting around Richmond, above one hundred in number, are at hospital No. 21, Cary street, in charge of Surgeon Semple, with a corps of assistants. The majority of them are terribly wounded, principally by grapeshot and shell. One has the whole of his left shoulder and side blown away by a shell, and the action of the heart and pulse can be traced through the orifice. Some of the Yankees killed by the heavy siege guns were literally torn in pieces.
