SPOTSWOOD HOTEL,
CORNER OF MAIN AND EIGHTH STREETS,
Richmond, Virginia.

A report has obtained extensive circulation, o the effect that this Hotel had been or was about to be closed. The proprietor takes occasion to contradict this as entirely unauthorized, and to say that under all circumstances, everything within reach will be done to ensure comfort to his guests.
