PRISONERS FROM ALL QUARTERS were received at the Libby
yesterday. From Petersburg, five of the First New York regiment were received;
twenty from Lynchburg, of the Twenty-second Wisconsin and Eighty-fifth Illinois
regiments, captured at Thompson's Station; twelve from Williamsburg, via
Chapin's Bluff, of the Fifth Pennsylvania cavalry; and two from Hamilton's
Crossing, members of the Second Wisconsin regiment.
A flag of truce went down to City Point yesterday, carrying
one hundred and twenty-nine prisoners, including eleven officers.
A United States flag of truce brought up several hundred
Confederate prisoners.
