LIST OF CASUALTIES
IN THE
BATTLES BELOW RICHMOND
Saturday, May 31, and June 1, 1862
We continue this morning the publication of the list of
casualties in the recent battles near Richmond.
CREW'S FACTORY HOSPITAL.
The subjoined is a list of the wounded, who, up to seven o'clock Monday evening,
had been received in this hospital. The building, situated on the corner of Cary
and 21st streets, is spacious and airy, and admirably kept. The
patients are clean and comfortable, and have every want attended to. A large
number of ladies were yesterday in attendance, ministering to the stricken
sufferers as only women can.

The list of wounded in the other hospitals will be
published hereafter.
THE CITY ALMS HOUSE HOSPITAL.
The number of wounded received into the City Alms House Hospital is four hundred
and nine. Our reporters made two ineffectual efforts to obtain a list of the
patients, but the facilities which have been afforded us at other Hospital were
denied us here. We are therefore unable to satisfy the friends of the gallant
men in this department with information, so much desired, as to their
whereabouts and the nature of their respective injuries.
