From the Richmond Enquirer, 6/20/1862, p. 1, c. 6

THE WOUNDED. – The hospitals recently so full of the wounded, from the battle of the “Seven Pines,” have been cleared of a large proportion of their patients, within the last few days. The greater number of them were only slightly wounded, and are able to walk about the city or go to their homes. We suppose that there are now not more than nine hundred under treatment in the hospitals, and of these nine tenths of the cases, though severe, are not dangerous. The mortality among them has been exceedingly small, and has, therefore, not added materially to the original lists of the dead. In the course of a few months, at least half of the whole number will be ready for service again.
