Arrival of Prisoners – Thirty-nine Abolition
prisoners of war arrived at the Libby prison yesterday morning from Knoxville,
Tenn. They were captured recently during a cavalry raid by our troops. Included
in the number was one Lieutenant and a Surgeon.
