The Confederate Flag. We saw on Saturday the first flag of the Confederate States in accordance with the design of Congress adopted at its recent session. The white ground was recommended by a number of military and naval officers, as possessing the requisite of distinguishment at a long distance. The battle-flag was retained as the union because of its association with so many brilliant feats of our brave men under it.
