From the Richmond Dispatch, 9/29/1862, p. 3, c. 3

FOR SALE—A small FARM, and most desirable location for a physician, in New Kent county, about 25 miles from Richmond, on 8 from Tunstall’s Station, on the Richmond and York River Railroad, adjoining the lands of James Stamper, deceased. It contains about 120 acres, one-half of which is cleared and the residue heavily timbered. All the necessary houses are on the place, and new. The fences, I understand, are in good order. There is an abundance of good marl on the land and very accessible. The neighborhood is as good as any in the State. Possession given immediately. Price, Apply to

DR. A. B. CURTIS,
General Hospital No. 1.
