June 22, 1862.

SPECIAL NOTICE. – Privates D. W. Furguson, W. J. Dickerson, and B. R. Mitchell, of the 18^th Virginia Regiment, Co. H, having been advertised as deserters, I would respectfully inform the public they are on detailed duty (by the Secretary of War) as nurses at the Winder Hospital, and are not deserters, as advertised by the Colonel Commanding of the 18^th Va. Regt.
