From the Richmond Dispatch, 6/21/1862, p. 2, c. 4

Prisoners Arrived. – Four Abolition prisoners were brought to town yesterday, also one deserter from Company E, 11th U.S. infantry. The latter came up to our pickets yesterday morning and voluntarily surrendered himself. He said he was tired of the war. The Abolition prisoners were captured on the Chickahominy on the 19th inst. They are Yankees of the wooden nutmeg pattern.
