From the Richmond Dispatch, 1/27/1862, p. 2, c. 3
Shooting. - About half-past 7 o’clock on Saturday
evening, a man calling himself John Green was carried to the lower station house
for shooting another, on Locust Alley. The parties are represented as soldiers.
The wounded man, having received a severe injury in the thigh, was conveyed to
the Louisiana Hospital.
